Privacy policy
Last updated November 1, 2026.
This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use morris.innova-lib.com, including the Ask Morris text chat and voice call. We keep it simple: we collect only what is needed to answer you, to follow up on a request you make, and to book a meeting you ask for. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
What this website does not do
- No advertising trackers, no social media tracking pixels and no analytics scripts are loaded on this site.
- No third party fonts or scripts are loaded from other websites. Pages are served from our own hosting.
- We do not record your voice calls on our servers.
Ask Morris text chat
When you type a message, it is sent through our server to an AI language model provider (Groq) so it can write a reply. Your recent messages are sent with each request so the assistant understands the conversation. Please do not type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into the chat.
Ask Morris voice call
When you start a call, your browser asks permission to use your microphone. Your voice is streamed directly from your browser to Google’s Gemini Live service so the assistant can hear and answer you. Our server only creates a short-lived access token for the call and does not receive or store the audio. You can mute or end the call at any time, and you can close the microphone permission in your browser settings whenever you like.
What is saved on your own device
So the assistant can welcome you back, your browser stores the following on your device only (in local storage). It is not a tracking cookie and it is not sent anywhere except as part of your own chat:
- The last 40 or so chat and call messages, your first name if you gave it, and whether you already sent your details. This is kept for up to 30 days of inactivity.
- The times of recent calls, used only to limit how many calls one browser can start per hour.
You can erase this at any time by choosing Start a new chat in the chat window, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
When you share your details
If you choose to send your details, through the Start a project form, a call, the contact form or the newsletter box, we receive what you enter: usually your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, location and a note about your project, plus the chat transcript for project requests so Morris has the context. This is delivered to Morris by email through Formspree, and is used only to reply to you and to discuss your request. Newsletter subscribers receive updates only until they ask to stop.
Email verification
On a voice call we may email a six digit code to the address you give, to confirm it is really yours. These emails are sent through Resend. The code is used once and only to verify the address.
Booking a meeting
If you book a meeting, in the Let’s Meet section or by asking the assistant, your name, email and time zone are sent to Cal.com, which schedules the meeting, adds it to Morris’s calendar and sends you the confirmation and calendar invite.
Client previews
If Morris shares a private preview of a project with you, we record when it is opened, your device, browser, IP address and approximate location, which pages you view and for how long, any comments or approval you give, and when screenshot keys are pressed. Morris can see which page a device is on while it is viewing. A cookie remembers your device so a link can be limited to a set number of devices.
If a preview asks you to sign an agreement, we also keep your name, email, organization and role, your signature, the date and time, and the exact text you agreed to. We keep signed agreements for as long as they may be needed as a record of what was agreed, and we email you a copy through Resend. After a visit we may also email you to ask for your feedback on the preview. Reply to that email if you would rather not get these.
If a preview has closed and you ask for access, we keep the email and any name you enter, with your device, browser, approximate location and the time, so Morris can decide on your request. If it is approved, your link and access code are emailed to that address through Resend. Requests that are not answered are removed after 90 days.
If Morris sends you an invoice, we keep your name, company, title, phone and email, the services and amounts, your payments, the emails sent, and the first time the invoice page was opened, for his business and accounting records. The invoice page has a private link and is hidden from search engines.
Services that help run this site
- Vercel hosts the website and runs its small server functions. Like any host it keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and reliability.
- Groq generates the text chat replies.
- Google (Gemini) powers the voice call and helps Morris draft invoice emails, using the invoice details.
- Formspree delivers form submissions and leads to Morris by email.
- Resend sends invoices, payment reminders and receipts, email verification codes, client preview alerts, copies of signed preview agreements, requests for feedback on a preview, and preview links and access codes.
- Upstash stores client preview records and invoices.
- Cal.com handles meeting bookings.
Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep information
Emails and booking records are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to follow up on your project, and then deleted when they are no longer useful. Chat and call text stored on your device expires after 30 days of inactivity or when you clear it.
Your choices
- You can use the website without using the chat or the call.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.
- You can ask to be removed from any updates at any time.
To do any of these, email morrisldorleyjr21@gmail.com or message +231 555 713 839 on WhatsApp.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
